Prefab quartz arrives in established dimensions with a finished front edge. Standardization reduces some material and fabrication costs compared with a fully custom slab program.

When prefab works well

• The kitchen fits the available slab dimensions
• A current prefab color works with the design
• The standard edge suits the project
• The layout does not require extensive custom matching

When custom material makes more sense

Large islands, dramatic vein placement, bookmatching, unusual shapes, premium edge details, or a color outside the prefab program may require a custom slab.

Compare the installed scope
