Completed Pacific Stone kitchen remodel

Pacific Stone process and FAQs

Know what happens before the work begins.

Understand the conversations, selections, measurements, approvals, and project details that move a kitchen or countertop replacement forward.

01Share the project
02Compare the options
03Approve the scope
04Schedule the work

Clarity before construction

The written scope matters as much as the material selection.

Every project is different. A countertop replacement and a full kitchen remodel do not require the same planning, trades, or timeline.

Your Pacific Stone proposal identifies the work included in your project. Depending on the home and final plan, separate electrical, painting, flooring, or other specialty work may still be needed.

From inquiry to installation

Six steps keep the project moving.

01

Share the current space

Send photos, rough measurements, inspiration, and a clear description of what you want to change.

02

Review the project direction

Discuss whether the project is a full kitchen remodel, a complete countertop replacement, or another qualifying scope Pacific Stone offers.

03

Compare selections in person

See cabinet displays and manufactured surfaces at Pacific Stone. Natural stone is selected from current inventory at a larger slab house.

04

Confirm design, pricing, and scope

Review the selected materials, layout, fabrication details, available project work, exclusions, and price before approving the agreement.

05

Measure and prepare

Complete the measurements, design details, ordering, and jobsite preparation required for the approved work.

06

Complete the contracted work

Pacific Stone coordinates and completes the items included in its agreement, then addresses applicable closeout details.

Who handles what

Do not assume a trade is included. Confirm it in writing.

The exact work depends on the project agreement. This keeps expectations clear before materials are ordered or installation dates are set.

Pacific Stone

Work included in your agreement

This may include qualifying demolition, cabinetry, countertops, and backsplash when those items are written into the approved Pacific Stone scope. Plumbing work is provided by the affiliated plumbing company under a separate plumbing scope that is sent separately and coordinated through Pacific Stone.

Project-specific

Other work may still be required

Electrical, painting, flooring, structural changes, appliance work, and other specialty trades may be separate depending on the home and design.

Before scheduling

Review the full sequence

Confirm access, selections, appliances, responsibilities, exclusions, the company providing each service, and any outside work required before or after Pacific Stone’s portion.

Frequently asked questions

Answers that help qualify the project early.

What types of projects does Pacific Stone offer?

Pacific Stone specializes in full kitchen remodels and complete kitchen countertop replacements. The exact available work is confirmed in your proposal.

Do you offer countertop repairs or small modification work?

No. Pacific Stone does not offer repair-only services. Small drilling, chip repair, seam repair, and similar stand-alone work are outside the current service scope.

Can I buy cabinets or countertop material without installation?

No. Materials sold by Pacific Stone must be installed by Pacific Stone as part of an approved project.

Do you offer prefab and custom cabinets?

Yes. Pacific Stone offers prefab and custom cabinet options. The right path depends on the layout, storage, finish, construction, budget, and level of customization required.

Where do I view countertop materials?

Pacific Stone showrooms feature manufactured surfaces such as quartz, porcelain, and Dekton. Granite, quartzite, and marble are viewed at larger slab houses with current natural-stone inventory.

Can Pacific Stone help with plumbing connections?

Yes. Qualifying connections for kitchen sinks, faucets, garbage disposals, dishwashers, and related items may be provided through a separate affiliated plumbing company under common ownership. The separate plumbing scope is sent separately and coordinated through Pacific Stone.

What about a bathroom vanity?

Vanity countertops and qualifying vanity plumbing connections may be available only when included with a full kitchen remodel. Plumbing is provided by the affiliated plumbing company under a separate plumbing scope that is sent separately and coordinated through Pacific Stone.

Will I still need other trades?

Possibly. Some projects require separate electrical, painting, flooring, structural, appliance, or other specialty work. Your proposal should identify what Pacific Stone is and is not completing.

What should I send for an estimate?

Start with clear photos, rough measurements, your location, what you want to replace, inspiration images, and any known appliance or layout changes.

How long will my project take?

Timing depends on the approved scope, material availability, cabinet lead times, outside trade requirements, site readiness, and the project schedule. Confirm the expected sequence before signing.

How do warranties work?

Your proposal, contract, and product documentation identify the workmanship and manufacturer warranty terms that apply to the selected project and materials.
